Sermorelin
Sermorelin Acetate (GRF 1-29 NH2)
Overview
Sermorelin is a truncated analog of natural GHRH containing the first 29 amino acids, which is the minimum fragment needed for full biological activity. As a GHRH analog, it promotes natural growth hormone production in a physiological pulsatile pattern, making it one of the safest options for GH optimization.
Mechanism of Action
Sermorelin binds to GHRH receptors on anterior pituitary somatotrophs, stimulating the natural synthesis and pulsatile release of growth hormone. Unlike exogenous GH, it preserves the hypothalamic-pituitary feedback loop, resulting in more physiological GH levels. It also improves sleep architecture by enhancing slow-wave sleep.
